Congrats, Big Bear Cafe!

Big Bear Cafe was chosen as one of 19 of this year's recipients of the "Mayor's Environmental Excellence Awards" - congratulations! According to the press release, “The Environmental Excellence Awards recognize the very best in sustainable commerce in the District of Columbia,” said Mayor Fenty. “Every day, the winners demonstrate that taking care of the environment makes good business sense.” And with items like Counter Culture coffee, compostable products, and energy efficient overhead fans, the staff at Big Bear has certainly earned this award.
